A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

 

 

My Fellow Liberians:

 

It bleeds my heart to announce to all of you the death of Hon. Steven S. Kpou, Sr. who just died minutes ago today (April 30, 2008) at the University of Pennsylvania hospital in Philadelphia.

 

Hon. Kpou served the Liberian Association of Pennsylvania and many other Liberian organizations in many capacities including Secretary General, Chairman of the membership committee of ULAA in the Arthur Watson’s administration, President of the BWI Alumni Association of the Delaware Valley etc. Up to the time of his death, Hon. Kpou was a founding member and President of the African Children & Family Services.

 

This is a very sad day for our community. The Hon. Steven S. Kpou Sr. served our community with distinction; he helped in many ways to transform our community for the better. He will be missed.

 

He leaves to mourn his wife Mrs. Ahmed Kpou and six children, a host of relatives and friends. Please join in by praying for the family.
